ClipArc takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the ClipArc Chrome extension ("Extension") and how it is protected.

1. No Data Collection

ClipArc does not collect any personal data. All your notes, drawings, voice recordings and other content are stored solely in your browser's local storage (Local Storage). This data can only be accessed from your device.

2. What Data Is Processed?

• Note Content: Text, images, voice recordings, drawings and other content created by the user.
• Preferences: Theme settings, panel position and other user preferences.

This data is processed only on your device. ClipArc has no servers and your data is never sent anywhere.

3. Third‑Party Sharing

Since ClipArc does not collect data, it does not share data with third parties. The extension contains no ads, analytics or tracking tools.

4. Permissions

The extension uses only the following permissions:

• activeTab: To access the active tab for right‑click menus and content capture.
• storage: To store your notes and preferences in browser storage.
• contextMenus: To add items to the right‑click menu.

None of these permissions provide access to your browsing history, passwords or other sensitive data.

5. Children's Privacy

ClipArc does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since the extension operates entirely locally, age verification is not required.

6. Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the extension page.
